More specifically, wherever I put the insertion point in my custom body text style in the document, the font that appears in the Font popup in the Home tab of the Ribbon, or in the font panel when right-clicking on the text and selecting 'Font' (or anywhere else) is incorrect. The font actually visible in the document appears to be Calibri. When I put the insertion point in any part of the document formatted with the style I created for the main 'body' text, it says 'Goudy Old Style,' which is the font that this text shouldbe in, but is not.

The font is installed, Font book sees it just fine, and it is not damaged or corrupted. Selecting any text and selecting (the 'already-selected') Goudy Old Style from the popup menu—without making any intervening changes to the font—changes the selected font to Goudy Old Style.
